When they bring out their Tofu, it is still warm and Cheap!! I think I only paid maybe 30 cents a square. That is a very good price.
I am not sure what these are but they sure look gross.
They have a large selection of fresh fruits and vegetables besides all the rice and other grains they sell.
My problem is... most of the packaging is written in Chinese and I have no clue what a lot of it is.

Chinese makes me flee, not eaten at my sea.
ReplyDeleteI like Chinese but can't eat most of their foods.
DeleteHaha - they DO look gross! We have China Town in Boston and many of my friends shop there, but since the majority of my family won't eat those sorts of foods, I hardly ever buy food there. That is an awesome price for the tofu!!
ReplyDeleteThe Tofu is a GREAT price. Plus, it comes out of the oven warm and you box it up and take it home fresh.
DeleteI like to eat tofu...I only have chinese a few times a month though
ReplyDeleteI like it because it takes on the flavor of what ever you want it to. My sister makes cheesecake out of it. I need to get her recipe.
Deleteindeed it looks gross, but that's kinda of interesting to try. are those some frozen fishes?
ReplyDeleteI think some of them might be eel but not sure.
DeleteHi There, Thanks so much for visiting my blog. Hubby and I are retired and we do love to travel. However, we are more into nature/hiking/searching waterfalls, etc. --so we try to go where there aren't too many people and where we can enjoy nature.
ReplyDeleteI looked through your list of places where you have visited. NOW--you need to come to the Smoky Mountains (Gatlinburg, Cherokee, etc.).... --so I want you to know that there's a big hotel/area on the North Carolina side of the Smokies in Cherokee. That will be a wonderful trip for you I'll bet!!!!!
Please come back to my blog... I will return to yours. Thanks again for visiting.
Thanks Betsy,
DeleteWe wil be headed to NC in April and then possibly again in July. I am going to check and see how close we are to the Smoky Mountains.
I added you to my blog roll so I will for sure be stopping back.
That is a good price, gotta say. And I'm laughing at the gross comment!
ReplyDeleteThose gross things look like sharks. Poor things, they have so much more to worry about from humans than we do from them.
ReplyDeleteI like tofu. Not everyone does, but I do!
ReplyDeleteI like fresh tofu and the price sounds really good. Too bad its all written in Chineese. I went shopping at a big Chineese grocery store in Chicago once. I was looking for some spices. Everything was labled in Chinese and not one employee could help transilate. They had no clue what the english names were for the spices they sold.
ReplyDeleteNow I know where to get chinese food if I ever visit this place in USA. The gross things look like an assortment of sea creatures - could be a shark and some eels and some fish in the ice box next to them.
ReplyDeleteThat's too bad the instructions aren't in English. After all we live in the US.
ReplyDeleteWarm & cheap :-).
ReplyDeleteSeems like a good place. I have been to Pittsburg once where I was visiting a friend. But will let my friend know in case he's interested.
ReplyDeleteWow that is great price for the tofu! I would be a little dumbfounded if everything was in Chinese :)
