Whispering Pines Community Park ~ Hermitage, Pennsylvania

Whispering Pines Community Park

If you have never been to Whispering Pines, you should make it a point to check this beautiful place out.
Whispering Pines Park is located adjacent to the Hermitage Historical Society and across from the Hermitage VFW along East State Street, it consists of a parking lot, restrooms, open play area and approximately 1/2 mile of paved trails with an additional 1/2 mile of unpaved, grass trail. Pedestrians can also access the trails and park from a point along North Darby Road. The trails combine both open areas and beautiful wooded areas in the 22 acre park.
Look how nice the restrooms are....inside and out.

And these are the hard working guys who keep this park beautifully maintained. The City Workers of Hermitage. Thanks guys for all your hard work.

How cool that tree is. It does look like it is saying Boo! LOL so funny.

  2. This is a beautiful place to take a walk. Love walking in the woods.

  3. My mother in law, Mrs. Edna June Shook Force, grew up here, and has many fond memories of Whispering Pines. June lived to be 91, and passed last week on her birthday. The Force family will be visiting again very soon.
